Siemens Venturio

The Siemens Venturio was a concept of a planned high-speed train from Siemens Mobility.

The concept for the variable Venturio saw trains before having three to twelve cars and various drive modes. The speed of the rolling stock was provided 160 up to 250 km / hr. Depending on requirements, it would have been equipped with or without tilting. Due to the complete independence of existing train control voltage and the Venturioreihe would have been suitable for use across national borders.

Siemens participated in the tender with the Venturio 116 cross-border high-speed trains of the TEE Rail Alliance.

The Venturio has never been produced.
