The Observatorio de Sierra Nevada (OSN ) is a Spanish observatory at Loma de Dilar, in 2896 m altitude in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada in Granada province. The observatory was founded in 1847. It is operated by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía ( IAA). The observatory houses several reflecting telescopes, the two largest with a primary mirror diameter of 1.5 meters and 0.9, further one in Infra Red specialized for observation telescope with 0.6 meter and two small telescopes with 0.36 meters.
It is close to the 30m radio telescope of the Institute for Radio Astronomy is in the millimeter range.
