Sierra Sur de Jaén (DO)

The Sierra Sur is one of the 10 Comarcas the Spanish province of Jaén. It was, like all Comarcas the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, established with effect from 28 March 2003.

The Comarca Sierra Sur comprises lies in the southwest of the province and includes five municipalities with 43 ​​942 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013), of which about half the town of Alcalá la Real.
