Siesikai

Siesikai is a town in Lithuania, in the west of the districts Ukmergė.

Location and population

Siesikai am See Siesikai about 22 km northwest of Ukmergė. The town had in 2001 601 inhabitants

History

The Catholic Church gibtt since 1537. Town In a Freedom Monument and the castle is from old 16th century Siesikai

There is also the middle school Siesikai, a post office (LT- 20048 ), a cultural center, medical clinic, pharmacy and the forestry Siesikai.

Since 1998, the small town out of a formal coat of arms, which was confirmed by the President of Lithuania.
