Sigeric of Essex

Sigeric (also Siric ) was a king of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Essex, who reigned as the successor of Swithred from an unknown date to 798.

From Sigeric is only known that he abdicated in 798 to go on pilgrimage to Rome. Successor as king was Sigered. The fate Sigerics and year of his death are unknown.
