SIGGRAPH

The SIGGRAPH ( Special Interest Group on Graphics and Interactive Techniques) is a thematic group of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM ), which deals with computer graphics.

A conference series of the same name takes place since 1974 every year in the United States. Since 2008, in addition to the SIGGRAPH Asia a corresponding conference in Asia, which is also conducted annually.

SIGGRAPH is the largest and most prestigious meeting on the topic. A comparable European Association is EUR Graphics.
