Sigmund Hemmel

Sigmund Hemmel (* 1520, † 1565) was a composer and Kapellmeister of Württemberg in Stuttgart.

Life

Works

The most important work Hemmels certainly represents the gantz psalter of David is a full four -part setting of the Psalter in the German-speaking areas munging from Ludwig oiler, Leo Jud, Hans Sachs, Martin Luther, Matthias Greitter, Wolfgang Dachstein, Jakob Dachser, Andreas Knöpken, Joachim Aberlin, Thomas Blaurer, Sigmund Salminger, Adam Reusner, Ludwig Hatzer, Johann Schweinitzer, Burkard Waldis, Heinrich Vogther, Veit Dietrich, Wolfgang Meuslin, John Gramann, Johannes Agricola, Justus Jonas and John the Elder Kolrose, which appeared posthumously in 1569 in print.
