Signum (musical group)
Signum is a Dutch trance duo consisting of Pascal Minnaard and Ronald Hagen.
Career
Pascal and Ronald both grew up in Zoetermeer and learned in the school know. Both had an interest in producing music and began working together. After they have lost contact, You will first both pursued a solo career. Published in 1997 with Pascal " Adaptor" the first production under the pseudonym Signum. At this time he met again Ronald, who also signed a record deal with music label BPM Dance. Their first production was released the same year. " What Ya Got 4 Me " became a huge club hit, reaching a placement in the UK singles charts. Today, the song is considered trance classics.
After the huge success with their first joint single, continued the both cooperation and from then on were also very sought after remix artists. The following year came requests from ATB, Alice Deejay and Yves Deruyter. Meanwhile, they have also produced remixes for Delerium already, Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond.
Only after a few years, the two began a career as a DJ. In July 2001, they made their debut in England with a three-hour DJ set at Gatecrasher. Since then, she had appearances in numerous clubs and festivals and have already booked worldwide.
In 2003, the music label BPM Dance was dissolved. Signum signed after Armin van Buuren at music label Armada Music. In 2004, the duo collaborated with singer Anita Kelsey and published jointly the single " Come Around Again". My remix of Armin van Buuren production "Serenity" became the official anthem of Sensation 2005 in Amsterdam. Signum has also published some productions under the pseudonym D -Factor. After the duo worked on her debut album over two years, was released the album For You in December 2010.
While Ronald Hagen still lives in Zoetermeer, Pascal Minnaard moved in 2008 to Norway. However, the two work together as before, taking advantage of the possibilities of the Internet.
