Sigurd Islandsmoen

Sigurd Islandsmoen ( born August 27, 1881 in Bagn ( Sør- Aurdal ); † July 1, 1964 ) was a Norwegian composer. He studied at the Conservatory of Music in Oslo, and later in Leipzig, where, among others Max Reger was his teacher. From 1916 to 1961 he was organist at the church in Moss. He composed many oratorios, orchestral works, chamber music, piano, organ and choral works.
