Sihon

Sihon was called in the 5 books of Moses Amorites in Heshbon, to which the Israelites sent on their arrival in Transjordan messenger with a request to be allowed to pass through his country. Sihon refused passage and moved toward them with his army. He was defeated by the Israelites at Jahaz. Israel possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok possession and settled in the cities. The land of Sihon was Reuben and Gad allocated ( 4 Genesis 32,33 ).
