Sikhoraphum District
Amphoe Sikhoraphum ( Thai: อำเภอ ศีขรภูมิ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the Surin province. The Surin province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the Isaan.
Geography
Amphoe Sikhoraphum borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe to the Sanom and Samrong Thap Province Surin, Amphoe Prang Ku at in the province of Sisaket and to the Amphoe Si Narong, Lamduan, Mueang Surin, Khwao Sinarin and Chom Phra in turn, in the province of Surin.

Economy
In the district Sikhoraphum Thai silk is produced. This silk with traditional design is a five -star OTOP product.
Attractions
- Prasat Sikhoraphum (also: " Prasat Ra Ngaeng " ) - Temple Ruins in the style of Angkor Wat from the early 12th century. Five brick Prang stand on a common base of laterite, the central prang is about 32 meters high. He is at the center of a square, the four smaller Prang at the corners. Worth seeing are finely executed sandstone reliefs on the lintels, which show, for example, a zehnarmigen, dancing Shiva.

Amphoe Sikhoraphum is divided into 15 subdistricts (tambon ), divide further into 226 villages ( Muban ).
There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Ra - Ngaeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ระ แง ง ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Ra Ngaeng,
