Sikkim Democratic Front

The Sikkim Democratic Front is the largest and the current ruling party in the Indian state of Sikkim. Current party leader and Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling is. The party ruled the state since 1994 and has its majority in the local parliament in the 1999 elections, 2004 and 2009 can still expand. For the election of the Regional Assembly on 30 April 2009, Sikkim Democratic Front won all 32 seats ( 100%). When simultaneous all-India election to the 15th Lok Sabha she won also (as in the three previous elections) with a majority of 63.3 % to a seat, the Sikkim has in the Indian Parliament.
