The summit of Silver Mountain

The mine

Touristic development

The Silberberg transformed afterwards to leisure and tourism attraction. In Barbarastollen mine tours for everyone will be held. At the middle station of the Silberbergbahn starts a 600 meter-long summer toboggan run, and further facilities include petting zoos and playgrounds. In winter, the silver mountain ski area features as a winter toboggan run and a children's ski park.

The bats on the silver mountain

About 14 different species of bats in thousands of copies have their winter quarters in and around the Silver Mountain. In the summer they stay on during the day in barns, trees and nest boxes. From a bridge of the animals can be observed from interested parties on specified dates.
