Silbermond is a German pop rock band from Bautzen in Saxony, which was founded in 1998 as Exact. Since 2002 she is called silver moon.

History

Formation and predecessor

The members of Silvermoon learned in 1998 in the musical youth project Ten Sing the YMCA know. They formed initially with two other members ( Juliane Katzer, singing, and Maximilian Maneck, keyboards) a cover band called Exactly. Two years later the decision was made in establishing the band JAST (the term is composed of the initial letters of the names of the four together).
