Silent Disco

Silent Disco ( Silent Disco also, silence disco or headphone party ) is the name for a disco, dancing with the people to the music they listen through wireless headphones. Instead of using a speaker system, music is transmitted via an FM transmitter to the wireless headset of the participants. Looking at the scenery without headphones, you do not hear music and see people dancing in a quiet room. In general, two DJs compete for listeners who may choose by selecting it on their wireless headphones what song they hear. The Silent Disco is popular, for example, at music festivals and open- air parties, because it allows people to dance without the noise of the environment by loud music. Similar events in which the concept of the silent disco is used are so-called Mobile Clubbing at which people meet and dance to music that they set in their personal MP3 player.
