Silje Solberg

Silje Margaretha Solberg ( born June 16, 1990 Bærum ) is a Norwegian handball player.

The first two teams were the goalkeeper Jar and Helset IF. Later Solberg moved to Stabæk Håndball, with whom she plays in the Norwegian league. Together with her twin sister Sanna, who also plays for Stabæk, they stood in 2011 in the final of Norgesmesterskap. Here was subject Stabæk the Norwegian record champions Larvik HK.

Solberg played a total of 47 caps for the Norwegian national team. She participated in the 2012 European Championship in Serbia with Norway. With Norway Solberg moved into the finals, but that Montenegro won. The Norwegian continued to participate in the World Cup 2013.

Solberg also belonged to the squad of Norwegian youth and junior selection. With the junior selection, she won 2010 World Cup.
