Silkeborg IF

Silkeborg Idrætsforening (SIF ) ( German: sports club Silkeborg ) is a Danish football club from the municipality of Silkeborg in Midtjylland Region. He is also listed as the only club in the Danish first division on the exchange.

The club was relegated in 1987 for the first time in the highest Danish league to which he belonged continuously to 2003. Came in 2004, the immediate resurgence. At the end of the 2006/07 season the club got back into the " Viasat Sport Divisions " (2 league). In the 2008 / 09 season, then managed to rise again in the Super League (1st Division).
