Silpakorn University Art Gallery

The Art Gallery Silpakorn University ( Thai หอ ศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัย ศิลปากร ) is an art gallery of Silpakorn University in Bangkok and is considered the most important art gallery of Thailand viewed.

The gallery was established in 1979 and for the dissemination of contemporary art in Thailand. The gallery consists of two buildings of the former Wang Tha Phra ( Buddha palace on the pier ) that were previously used by the Royal Family: the Great Hall ( ตำหนัก กลาง ) and the Pannarai Wing ( ตำหนัก พรรณราย ).

Exhibitions are held throughout the year and through links with foreign organizations and artists from the western and eastern countries are represented.
