Silvano Ippoliti

Silvano Ippoliti ( born January 21, 1923 in Cagliari, † 1994 in Rome ) was an Italian cinematographer.

Life

Silvano Ippoliti began in the 40s as a camera assistant and worked mostly as a director of photography in the mid 50s.

Between 1967 and 1991 he often worked with director Tinto Brass together, and some of it resulting films were screened at major festivals: L' Urlo ran in 1970 at the Berlinale, and La Vacanza won in 1971 on the Venice Film Festival the price of Film Critics as the best Italian film.

Ippoliti did the camera work well in some movies with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer.
