Gulfstream International Airlines is an American airline based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Main shareholder is the G- Air Holdings. They operated scheduled and charter flights targets in Florida and the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. The scheduled flights take place due to a codeshare agreement with Continental Airlines as Continental Connection. Gulfstream flies from all U.S. carriers to most destinations in the Bahamas on.

History

Gulfstream International Airlines was founded in October 1988 by the former captain of Eastern Airlines during a pilot strike at Eastern Airlines and started its operations on 1 December 1990.

Initially, the company flew as Commodities taxi company between Miami, Florida and Cap- Haïtien, Haiti. Due to the difficult political conditions in Haiti, the targets were shifted to the Bahamas. In 1994, a codeshare agreement has been concluded with United Airlines. In August 1998, took over G- Air Holdings, the Paradise International Airlines.

2004, a long -time code - share agreement was signed with Continental Airlines.

On October 1, 2010, UAL Corporation and Continental Airlines merged to form the United Continental Holdings. The merger was also the regional partner of Continental Airlines, Continental Connection, United Express partner. This Gulfstream International Airlines is now a partner of United Express.
