Silver Reef is a former mining settlement ( ghost town ) in Washington County, Utah. It was the only mine construction in North America, the silver quarried sandstone. The settlement was inhabited from 1875 to 1893 and was home to 2,000 residents in 1879. A former residence is now run as a museum as well as time- being, as an art gallery.
