Silviu Lung Jr.

Silviu Lung Jr. ( * June 4, 1989 in Craiova ) is a Romanian football player. The goalkeeper is since summer 2011 at Astra Giurgiu in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

Lung already increased at the age of 15 years on the squad for the first team FC Universitatea Craiova his home club, arrived there first but not to the course. He made his debut only on 12 April 2008 in the match against Otelul Galati in the League 1 Even in the 2008 /09 season, averaging had the role as Deputy Mircea Bornescu satisfied. In addition to the change Bornescus to Rapid Bucharest in the summer of 2009 he was promoted to regular keeper and secured his club in the season 2009/10 in the league. At the end of the 2010/11 season he was unable to avoid relegation. Then he left Universitatea Craiova and moved on to league rivals Astra Ploieşti.

National

Lung has played two games for the Romanian national football team. He made his debut on 5 June 2010 in a friendly against Honduras. Since then, he heard with Cristian Bălgrădean, Costel Pantilimon and Ciprian Tătăruşanu to circle the keeper of coach Victor Piţurcă.

Private

Silviu Lung Jr. is the son of longtime Romanian international goalkeeper Silviu Lung ( born 1956 ) and younger brother of the goalkeeper Tiberiu Lung ( b. 1978 ).
