Simeon Williamson

Simeon Williamson ( born January 16, 1986 in Islington, London ) is a British athlete.

Williamson starts for Highgate Harriers. He finished at the Junior European Championships in 2005 in 10.52 s in the 100 meters with a hundredth of a second behind in second place behind his countryman Craig Pickering. In the U23 European Championships in 2007, he won in 10.10 s the title ahead of Pickering. In 10.22 s, he also won the title at the Universiade in Bangkok. According to a seventh place finish at the World Indoor Championships in 2008 he retired from the 2008 Olympic Games in the quarterfinals.

At the European Indoor Championships 2009 Williamson finished fourth in the sprint. Outdoors Williamson was British champion. At the World Championships in Berlin in 2009, however, he retired again in the quarterfinals. The British 4 x 100 - meter relay in the occupation Williamson, Tyrone Edgar, Marlon Devonish and Harry Aikines - Aryeetey won the bronze medal in 38.02 s behind the seasons from Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. In the years 2010 and 2011, Williamson was sidelined due to injury. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he was runner replacement of the British squadron.

Williamson's competition weight is 95 kg at a height of 1.86 m. His fastest time over 100 meters is located since 2008 at 10.03 s
