Simon Crane

Simon Crane ( born 1960 in Twickenham ) is a British stuntman and actor.

His first assignment was as a stuntman in 1985 James Bond 007 - In the face of death. This was followed by appearances in films such as The Young Sherlock Holmes and Aliens - The Return. In 1989 he stood in for lead actor Timothy Dalton in Licence to Kill in 1991 and Kevin Costner in Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves. From 1993 he was also stunt coordinator and performed in the movie Cliffhanger - Only the strong survive the Guinness Book of World Records ' most expensive stunt ". For numerous blockbusters he worked as a stunt coordinator, including Braveheart (1995), Titanic (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Terminator 3 (2003), Troy (2004 ) Hancock (2008 ) and Salt (2010).
