Simon Danner

Simon Danner ( born December 25, 1986 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays in the German Ice Hockey League for the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg since July 2012.

Career

Danner began his career in the youth of the EHC Freiburg, where he went through several ages and thereby played among others in the junior league. During the season 2002 /03 of the then 15 -year-old was first used in the professional team of the EHC. On November 1, 2002 while with his assist for his first point scorer in the professional area he succeeded 2:1 The score in a 4-3 win over Duisburg. This point made ​​him simultaneously also the youngest scorer in the club's history the EHC Freiburg. After a total of five seasons in Frankfurt, he moved in July 2010 to the DEG Metro Stars and scored in the season 2010/2011 a total of 23 points. When, after the withdrawal of the main sponsor metro to the end of the season 2011/12 the funding of DEG was for a long time not secure, the Danner decided early for a change to the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg.
