Simon Dyson

Simon Dyson ( born December 21, 1977 in York ) is an English professional golfer on the European Tour. Because of its high, almost frantic, game pace he is called by his fellow players, "Mr. Busy".

He took as an amateur in 1999 to second place in the English Amateur Championship, won the Finnish Amateur title and was victorious Walker Cup team from Great Britain & Ireland. In the autumn of the same year he pursued a professional career.

Dyson first played on the Asian Tour and won three tournaments there. Since 2001 he has regularly and consistently plays on the European Tour and won in March 2006, his first tour title. At the Austrian Open in June 2006, Dyson has long been the first runner-up Markus Brier and eventually finished third in this well-staffed tournament. In August, he won his second tournament on the European Tour, the traditional KLM Open, the jump-off against the Australian Richard Green. Three years later, Dyson this success - again after Playoff - repeat. In 2011, he won that tournament for a third time.
