Simon Gallup
Simon Gallup ( born June 1, 1960 in Duxhurst, Surrey ) is since 1979 bass player in the band The Cure with a break from summer 1982 to spring 1985.
He has four older siblings, three brothers, one sister. 1961 the family moved to Horley / Surrey order was visiting Simon Gallup primary school from 1965 to 1971 and then the total school until 1976. After school he worked until 1979 in a plastic factory.
Except for The Cure played Simon Gallup Bass at The Magazine Spies and Lockjaw. During his break from The Cure, he was a founding member of the group Cry, later renamed to Fools Dance and with whom he released two EP's and several singles.
