Simon Jentzsch

Simon Jentzsch ( born May 4, 1976 in Dusseldorf ) is a former German football goalkeeper, who also has British citizenship.

Life

He is the son of the German football coach Werner Jentzsch (including TuS Homberg ) and an Englishwoman. Jentzsch grew up in the environment of British military barracks in Brüggen on the Lower Rhine, and also possesses the citizenship of the UK.

Career

Jentzsch played in his youth from 1982 to 1991 at SC Waldniel, 1991-1993 at the 1 FC Mönchengladbach, January-September 1992 VVV-Venlo and von1993 until 1994 when KFC Uerdingen 05

In his first professional years in Uerdingen he could not prevail, at Karlsruher SC, he made ​​his breakthrough and was first-choice goalkeeper.
