Simon Kirch

Simon Kirch ( born September 26, 1979 in Neuwied ) is a German athlete who mainly starts on the 400 meters.

In 2000 he was in the 4 x 100 - meter relay German masters. He was, he was at the German Championships in the hall and outdoor Fourth Fifth and the 4 x 400 - meter relay U23 European Vice Champion 2003 fifth at the German Championships in 2001.

In 2004 he was German indoor champion, and in 2005 he won the title in the open and qualified for the World Championships in Helsinki, where he failed in the flow. At the World Championships 2007 he was eighth with the German 4 x 400 - meter relay.

In 2008 he was again nominated for the German Champion and 4 x 400 meters relay at the Olympic Games in Beijing.

Simon Kirch is 1,91 m tall and weighs 76 kg. He starts for the SV Saar 05 Saarbrücken, his longtime coach Werner Schorr was 2011/12 was replaced by the American Todd Henson.
