Simon Moritz Bethmann

Simon Moritz Bethmann (* 1721 in Nassau, † 1782 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German businessman and banker.

Life

Simon Moritz Bethmann was the youngest son of the bailiff Simon Moritz Bethmann of Nassau ( 1687-1725 ). He was companion of his elder brother Johann Philipp and justified so with this the brought forth from the inheritance of the maternal uncle Jakob Adami later Bethmann Bank in Frankfurt. In 1746 he received the civil rights of the city in which he noticed through his charity. Simon Moritz Bethmann died childless.
