Simon Scarrow

Simon Scarrow (born 1962 in Nigeria ) is a British author who mainly writes historical novels.

Life

Scarrow was born in 1962 as a child of British parents in Nigeria and grew up in many other countries, even before he came to England. He took an early interest for writing books and began his first novel at the time of his university degree. He then worked for two years in the public service before he began a study, which he finished with a university degree. He then worked as a lecturer in history in the English Norfolk. At the same time he began again to work on books. Since 2005, he has been mainly working as a writer.

Revolution series

This series deals with the life Napoleon Bonaparte and Arthur Wellesley, starting in 1769. The books told in alternating sections parallel to the biographies of both personalities from early childhood through youth and military career to the final encounter in Waterloo.
