Simon Schwarz

Simon Black (born 10 January 1971 in Vienna) is an Austrian actor.

Black was born the son of a theater scholar and a specialist in German in Vienna in 1971. In addition to a dance training in dance Wien and Dance Theater in Zurich, a classical ballet training, he took acting classes at the Zurich Anne Woolliams School and attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Ernst Busch " Berlin.

This was followed theatrical engagements at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, at the Stadttheater Luzern and on jolie théâtre in Basel ( The Rat Race by Michael Frayn ). From Summer 2013 Simon Black plays the devil in everyone 's production at the Salzburg Festival.

In 1996 he celebrated in the television series Game of Life his television debut. This was followed by some national film and television productions before Schwarz 1998 with the film The Siebtelbauern gained greater prominence. For this film he won the Max Ophüls Award for Most Promising Actor.
