Simon Townshend

Simon Townshend ( born October 10, 1960) is a British guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is the younger brother of Pete Townshend.

In the 1980s, Townshend released two solo albums, including his debut Sweet Sound (1983) and Moving Target (1985). After founding his own record label, Stir Music 1996, he published several other studio and live albums.

In 1996 and 1997 he joined the first time to The Who for their Quadrophenia tour as second guitarist. In 2002, he joined the band as a full member and accompanied her since their tours. In early 2005 he teamed up with other musicians Casbah Club, with whom he played at concerts in 2006 initially as a support act for The Who and then the band itself.

Simon Townshend has three children with his wife Janie.
