Simone Pepe ( born August 30, 1983 in Albano Laziale, Italy) is an Italian football player.

Since 2011, the striker is the Italian giants Juventus under contract.

Career

In the club

AS Roma

Pepe began his career at AS Roma, the first borrowing it to Calcio Lecco.

U.S. Palermo

In summer 2003, the attacker moved to Palermo in the Serie B. In the season 2004/ 05 Pepe was loaned to Piacenza Calcio. In 2005 he returned to Palermo back to the departure of Luca Toni Fiorentina to compensate.

Udinese Calcio

From 2006 to 2011 Simone Pepe was in Serie A with Udinese Calcio under contract.

Juventus

In June 2010, Pepe moved on loan to Italian giants Juventus. The Turin also had an option to purchase in the amount of 7.5 million euros, which they saw on June 22, 2011. Pepe under then wrote a four-year contract with Juve.

In July 2012, it was announced that Pepe has to appear in court because he had the association not reported by match-fixing, which should have been known to him and have been in the Salvatore Masiello, his former teammate from his time involved in Piacenza and Udinese should. On August 10, 2012 Pepe was acquitted because the statements of the soccer player Andrea Masiello, who had Pepe and his teammate Leonardo Bonucci accused of Mitwisserschafts, were not regarded as consistent.

In the National Team

On October 5, 2008 Pepe was nominated by coach Marcello Lippi for the World Cup qualifying matches for the Italian national team against Bulgaria and Montenegro. His first international game, he completed 11 October 2008 in a 0-0 draw against Bulgaria.

In 2010 he was nominated by Lippi in the squad of Italy for the World Cup in South Africa. Pepe completed all three games, left with the Azzurri but already in the first round as a group from Last.
