History

The Simplot Company was founded in 1929 by the then 20 -year-old John Richard Simplot as a one-man farm. She established primarily as a wholesale supplier of dehydrated onions and potatoes for the military in World War II. Since 1953, the company sold frozen French fries, as its inventor, it is and was founded in 1967 supplier for McDonald's.
