Simputer

The Simputer is a small, low-cost hand -held computer that has been developed for use in India and other developing countries.

The Simputer is the result of several years of research of the Simputer Trust, a non-profit organization that was founded in November 1999 and led by the Bangelore Seven, behind the four Indian professors of the Indian Institute of Science, and three Indian software engineers software manufacturer Encore stand.
