Simultaneous congruence

A simultaneous congruence in number theory designates a system of linear congruences

For all to be x determines the solution of all congruences simultaneously. It may, but need not be a clear solution.

Simultaneous congruences can be solved using the Chinese remainder theorem or by successive substitution.
