Sina.com is a large Chinese -language infotainment web portal, it was founded in 1999 and is run by SINA Corporation.

The portal is aimed primarily at Chinese world and claims to have 94.8 million registered users, of which over 10 million are active.

The site has about 500,000 visitors a day (unique visit) (October 2012), and about 3 million page views total.

Popularity

According to a survey by Gallup Research Ltd. in April 2003 Sina.com was one of the most popular websites in China and was designed by Southern Weekend, a Chinese weekly newspaper in Guangzhou, named the " Chinese Language Media of the Year".

In April 2010 sina.com.cn was ranked 14 of the most popular sites in China.
