The group announced that the decision had been made since the program obviously pursuing political motives, and the successes of the United States under wander in Iraq. With this decision, SBG criticism from both sides of the political spectrum moved to. In October 2004, UBS had all the 62 stations of the group, a time slot in prime time for the documentation Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal vacate. The film is made up, only 2 weeks before the U.S. presidential election, a critical look at the commitment of the U.S. presidential candidate John Kerry in the antiwar movement and, among other things viewed through his association with the group Swiftboat Veterans for Truth by many critics as politically - influenced. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) filed a complaint with the U.S. Securities and Markets Authority FEC that this, however, rejected. Many groups and individuals, among others, filmmaker Michael Moore, offered the SBG partially free footage to that in terms of a contrast program to Kerry documentation could be broadcast. This includes, inter alia, the documentation Fahrenheit 9/11 and Going Upriver.
