Singapore People's Party

The Singapore People's Party (abbreviated SPP; Chinese:新加坡 人民 党; times: Parti Rakyat Singapura. ) Is one of the opposition parties in Singapore. It was founded in 1994. Chairman is the former Member of Parliament Chiam See Tong. The party was to March 2011, part of the Singapore Democratic Alliance party Bündnises. In elections in May 2011 missed Chiam 's wife, Lina Chiam in her husband's former constituency victory by 115 votes.
