Sinosaurus ( "China lizard" ) is a genus of theropod dinosaur from the Early Jurassic of the People's Republic of China. The genus is, however, since 2004 as a noun dubium because the underlying holotype " IVPP V 34 ", a maxillary fragment does not provide sufficient phylogenetic information for the establishment of a taxon.
Sinosaurus probably reached a length of 2.4 meters. The first scientific description made C. C. Young ( actually Yang Zhongjian ) 1948.
