The Sioux Falls Regional Airport ( IATA: FSD, ICAO: KFSD ), also known as Joe Foss Field known is the city's airport in Sioux Falls Minnehaha County in the southeast of the U.S. state of South Dakota. It is measured by the number of passengers the largest airport in the state.

The airport is owned by the city of Sioux Falls and is operated by the Sioux Falls Regional Airport Authority.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) classifies the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems belonging airport by the number of 367 874 departing passengers as a primary commercial service airport.

On the grounds of the airport there is the main base of the Air National Guard of South Dakota.

Location

The airport is located on the Big Sioux River, near the junction of the three states of South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.
