The Siret (Romanian Siret; Ukrainian Серет; Russian Сирет; Hungarian Szeret ), in antiquity known as Latin Hierasus, is a left tributary of the Danube. It rises at Szypotprivat in the eastern upstream chain of the Carpathians.

Course
