Siselen

Siselen (French Zezèle ) is a municipality in the administrative district in the canton of Bern Seeland in Switzerland.

Geography

Siselen is in the Great Marsh, a particularly fertile area with almost black soil in the Berner Seeland. The neighboring communities of north clockwise are starting Hagneck, Walperswil, Bargen BE, Kallnach, Finsterhennen and Lüsslingen.

Policy

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 43.6 %, 19.3 % BDP, SP 16.5 %, FDP 5.8 %, 4.4 % glp, GPS 3.5 %, 3.4 % EPP, CVP 0.9 %, EDU 0.4 %.
