Sisophon ( Serei Saophoan ) (Khmer: សិរីសោភ័ណ ) is the capital of the province of Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia.

Geography

The city is located in Serei Saophoan District, on the National Highway 5 and National Highway 6 In 1998 Sisophon had a population of 61,482 (1998 census ), in 2008 there were 61 631 (2008 census ).
