The Sitia Airport (english Sitia Public Airport; Greek Δημοτικός Αερολιμένας Σητείας ) is the national commercial airport in the town of Sitia on the Greek island of Crete. He should be developed into an international airport in 2004, this project has not previously been realized.

On weekdays there are charter and private connections.

Reconstruction measures

2003, the airport was completely rebuilt and given a new, more powerful terminal with 1000 square meters area. In addition, the airstrip was built completely new, it now has a safety zone of 75 meters. Furthermore, created three taxiways and two aircraft parking.
