Sixteen (Polish band)

Sixteen (from 1998: Seventeen) was a Polish pop rock band that existed from 1997 to 2004.

The band's debut album, Lawa, was a great success in Poland and received a platinum record. Internally by the broadcasting company Polish Television, the group was selected to represent Poland at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1998 in Birmingham. Takie with the pop- rock song To proste they landed at No. 17

With the death of guitarist Jarosław Pruszkowski 1998, the band name was changed in Seventeen and the singer Renata Dąbkowska left the group and started a solo career.
