Sixto Peralta

Sixto Raimundo Peralta salso ( born April 16, 1979 in Comodoro Rivadavia ) is an Argentine footballer of Italian origin. Since the summer of 2012, the attacking midfielder plays for Chilean club Universidad Católica CD.

Association

Peralta started his career in the youth division of CA Huracán. In 2000 he moved for 4.5 million euros to Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A. Since he could not prevail at Inter, he was loaned to FC Turin in January 2001. He was awarded by Intern at Ipswich Town in 2001 and scored 3 goals in 22 games. Peralta came in 2002 back to Racing Club, who paid a transfer fee of 2 million euros for him. In January 2008 Peralta changed hands for 800,000 euros in the Romanian League 1 to CFR Cluj. On 23 February 2008 he made ​​his debut in Liga 1, when he came off the bench in a 4-1 victory against FC Universitatea Craiova for António Semedo in 84 minutes. With Cluj, he won three championships and three could win the Romanian Cup. After four and a half successful years he left Europe in summer 2012 and joined the Chilean team CD Universidad Católica.

Peralta took for Argentina participated in the Junior World Championship 1999, where he retired with his team in the second round against Mexico. Previously, he was also at the U -20 South American Championship 1999 squad, which ended for Argentina with the title.
