Sjaak Swart

Sjaak Swart ( born July 3, 1938 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch football player.

Career

Association

The former right winger played during his 17- year professional career that lasted from 1956 to 1973, only for Ajax Amsterdam. During this time he won with Ajax eight times the Dutch championship five times and the KNVB Cup. He belonged to the Ajax team that could win 1971-1973 the European Champions Cup three times in a row. With 463 appearances for Ajax in the Eredivisie he is the record player and the club with his 175 goals he ranks third in the club 's internal scoring charts; only Johan Cruijff and Piet van Reenen could score more goals at Ajax in their time.

National

Between 1960 and 1972, denied Swart 31 caps for the Dutch national soccer team in which he could make ten times.
