Jozephus Johannes Antonius Franciscus " Sjef " van Run ( born January 12, 1904 in Den Bosch, † December 17, 1973 in Eindhoven ) was a Dutch football player.

Association
Sjef van Run played in youth by VV Boxtel. He moved to PSV Eindhoven, where he remained 16 years as a player. In his time at PSV, he was team captain. His last game he made on September 6, 1942.
National
In the National Team of the Netherlands van Run debuted on March 29, 1931 match against Belgium. With the " Oranje ", he participated in the World Cup 1934 in Italy.

Honors
PSV Eindhoven honored his former players by naming a sponsor space in the domestic Philips Stadium, Sjef van Run Hall. In addition to van Run players like Hans van Breukelen, Eric Gerets and Lieuwe Steiger was awarded this honor.
